Jamia Millia Islamia Admission 2022: Application Form Last Date Extended for UG and PG Courses. The application date for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), diploma, and advanced diploma programmes at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has been extended. Candidates can now apply until May 31, rather than the previously announced deadline of May 27.
“The Vice-Chancellor, JMI has very kindly approved a further extension in the last date of filling online application form for all Jamia programmes of PG/ UG/ Diploma/ Advanced Diploma etc. and Foreign Nationals/ NRI wards for the academic session 2022-2023,” according to a Jamia Millia Islamia notification. The application process for jmi.ac.in is now open.
The deadline for submitting online application forms for BTech/ BArch admission has also been extended until June 20 due to the extended schedule of JEE Mains and NATA exams in 2022, according to the announcement.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) UG/PG programmes have received over 1 lakh (1,03,397) applications. According to a PTI report, females account for 56,667 of the total candidates who applied for the 136 programmes for the academic year 2022-23. There are 39 undergraduate courses and 78 postgraduate courses among the 136 programmes.
Last month, the JMI made its admission prospectus available online, and admission forms were available on April 14. The deadline for submitting online application forms for all graduate and postgraduate programmes has been extended until May 25.
