5G Service Starts From Diwali in India – Jio Important Announcement!!! India’s leading telecom company Jio has announced this year’s Diwali gift for its customers. In other words, Reliance Industries has announced that it will launch 5G service from the coming Diwali festival.
Speaking at the 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Managing Director Mukesh Ambani spoke about the 5G service’s introduction in India. Following this Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance said that, ”We have decided to implement 5G service on the occasion of Diwali on 24th October in India.
In the first phase, 5G service will be implemented in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. And by the end of next year, it will be rolled out across India,” he said. Moreover, he mentioned that the 5G service which will be launched on Diwali will be a completely stand alone service independent of the existing 4G. Jio has invested Rs.2 lakh crore in 5G services he added.
