JEE Main 2021 Exam Date Postponed for May session amid COVID19 Outbreak, Announces Union Education Minister!!! (Latest News, Phase 1, 2, 3 & 4). National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE Main 2021 Exam for the May session. The exam is postponed due to the current surge of COVID19 positive cases in India. This postponement news was confirmed by the Union Minister for Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank via his Twitter handle.

JEE Main 2021 May session was planned to be held from 24 to 28 May 2021. However keeping the present situation in mind, the National Testing Agency has postponed the exam. The new dates for JEE Mains exam will be informed to the candidates in the due course time. Earlier JEE Main 2021 – April session also postponed, due to COVID19 pandemic situation.

Students are advised to utilize this time to prepare themselves better for the exams. They can also take practice tests on the NTA Abhyas App from their homes. Candidates should keep visiting the NTA site regularly for further information about the Postponed exams. This year nearly 20 lakh students had registered for the JEE Main Examination 2021.

The COVID-19 pandemic situation in India is getting worse by each day. The toll in the country has risen up to 15.1 million. Therefore, considering the severity of the situation in the country, Many government sector recruitment exams and many state boards and even CBSE have canceled or postponed the board exams. Yesterday GoI postponed the NEET PG 2021 examinations.
