JEE Advanced 2023 Registration Has Been Increased by 15%: The registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 has been concluded on May 8. According to the report, the registration number of students has increased from 61.5% in 2022 to 76% in 2023. This is a 15% hike when compared to the previous year.
This huge leap shows the interest among the students to appear for the advanced exam. Students who have secured the top 2,50,000 ranks in JEE Main exam are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced exam. Nearly 2.5 lakh candidates are qualified in the main exam and around 1.9 lakh candidates are registered for the advanced exam. Out of these, 1.46 lakh are boys and 44,000 are girls.
The above-said information is provided by IIT Guwahati, which is responsible for this year’s JEE Advanced exam. The board has planned to conduct the JEE Advanced exam on June 4, 2023. Chairman of JEE Advanced 2023 Mr. Bishnupada Mandal stated that this year’s registration is high when compared from the 2014 to 2022 registration. He also states that this year the Main exam-cleared candidates are less and the number of registration for the advanced exam is more when compared to 2022.
