Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM 2021):
Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. is a common admission test conducted for admission into Master of Science and other post-graduate science programs at Indian Institutes of Technology every year. IISc Bangalore is the organizing institute for JAM 2021 exam. JAM 2021 Examination will be conducted ONLINE only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all Test Papers. JAM 2021 will have seven Test Papers, namely, Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Sciences (MS) and Physics (PH). Economics (EN) paper is added newly this year.
Last Date Extended Details:
All the seven Test Papers of JAM 2021 will be of entirely objective type, with three different patterns of questions, namely Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. The registration process for the JAM has begun on 20 April 2021. In the notification, the board mentioned that the last date to submit the online application is 20 May 2021. The board already has extended the deadline for registration till the date of 27 May 2021. Now the board has also revised the deadline. The new last date is May 31, 2021.

Along with this announcement the board also announced that, the eligibility for admission through JAM 2021 is relaxed to pass in the qualifying degree for all categories. So, this will be good news for the degree holders. Now let’s check the official statement below.
