Jharkhand JAC Classes 10, 12 Exams Not Cancelled 2021 Not Yet Decided!!

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has not taken any decision yet on Class 10 and 12 board exams, which were postponed in April amid a surge in Covid-19 cases. Many rumors spreading on board exam cancellation are fake.

Several students took to Twitter and requested the Prime Minister to cancel their 12th board exams 2021 due to the pandemic.

Concerned about the health risks, parents and students of the state boards are requesting the officials and respective authorities to cancel the Class 12 board exam this year.

The JAC on April 17 postponed Class 10 and 12 final exams and said it will review the Covid situation on June 1 before taking further decisions. The exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to May 21. “All the practical examinations of Class 10 and 12 of the year 2021 are postponed with immediate effect. Further information in this regard will be published later,” the JAC had said.

Madhu Shukla, another Class 12 student said exams should be held following the Covid protocols. Students are not prepared for exams. The majority of them are in fear and do not want to appear in exams,” he added.

The CM wants to take all the political parties into confidence before implementing the complete lockdown in Jharkhand, making more strictures or imposing strict restrictions. For this, through the Zoom app at 6.30 pm on Saturday, they will know their opinion from the leaders of other parties through video conferencing.

His intention is that everyone should be taken into confidence before taking tough decisions. CM took the final and major decision regarding postponement of Jharkhand Board, JACK’s matriculation and inter examination of 2021 till further orders. Earlier, JACK has postponed the practical exams of 10th and 12th till further orders.

On alternative methods of evaluation using previous exam marks, he explains Classes 9, 11 board exams are different. “Students take Class 9, 11 exams casually as those exams are only for promotion to next higher classes,” Mr Bhagat told

Shubham Bhagat, a Class 12 Science student, also wants to appear in the exam, if the government can conduct it in time.
