Shocking News for IT Employees – Work From Home End Soon? Govt to Announce SOPs for Special Economic Zones!!  Recently, the central government issued a notifications to implement new rules for WFH employees working from Special Economic Zones (SEZs). It is reported that the government will soon release the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be followed for the implementation of this rules. In this situation, the employees who working in the IT sector are expected to be affected by the new rule of the central government.

Why because, the central government’s WFH policy allows 50% or more employees in SEZ zones to continue work from home mode. This is expected that to affect the current practice of the IT sector. That means the rules will take away the flexibility that WFH provides to employees, say IT firms. Commenting on this, Tech Mahindra NSE 0.20% Chief Financial Officer Rohit Anand said, ‘We are working with the country’s leading IT industry association Nasscom and representation from the IT industry to make the WFH system a little more feasible.’
