Is Saturday Working Day For Govt. Schools? Saturday 4/03/2023 is going to be a working day for all the government schools in the state of Tamil Nadu for 5 districts namely Madurai, Dindigul, Ramanathapuram, Theni, and Sivaganga. Saturday has been announced as a working day due to the team visit by the Zonal committee by departmental senior officers as well as the visit of the TN Chief Minister M. K. Stalin.
The visit for the schools of these 5 districts starts on 4th March 2023(Saturday) and 6th March 2023 (Monday). The two days visit will only for the 1st to 9th standards. For 11th to 12th students the school works normally.
To compensate for that working day on Saturday, the following Monday 6/03/2023 will be announced as a holiday. Monday 6/03/2023 timetable will be followed on Saturday 4/03/2023. It is only followed for the students of 1st to 9th standard. For the 10th, 11th, and 12th students would be expected to follow the regular timetable.
