Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) – 3 years Diploma inChemical/Refinery &Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc(Maths, Physics, Chemistry orIndustrial Chemistry) from arecognized Institute/Universitywith minimum of 50% marksin aggregate for General &OBC candidates and 45% incase of SC/ST candidatesagainst reserved positions
Engineering Assistant-IV (Power & Utility) -3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engg. from recognized Institute/University & Boiler Competency Certificate (with classas may be prescribed by the Boiler Authority of the state) (Refer Official Notification)
Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical) – 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions
Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical) – 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved /identified for PwBD positions or Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade with pass class
Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation) – 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized Institute/University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved/identified for PwBD positions.

IOCL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
The selection procedure will include a written test as well as a qualifying Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). Only those candidates who qualify in the SPPT will be placed on a category- and post-wise merit list based on their performance in the Written Test.
