Infosys Warns Employees on Moonlighting Causes Termination – Here are the Details!! India’s 2nd largest IT company Infosys Limited has warned its employees against moonlighting. Infosys has said it may terminate the contracts of employees who are involved in moonlighting as the practice is against company rules.

Moonlighting means when an employee does another job while they are on the job. Hence it has been declared that dual employment is not allowed for employees as per Infosys’s code of conduct. Infosys warned its employees through a letter saying, ‘Remember – NO TWO-TIMING – NO MOONLIGHTING’.

It has warned that double work is not allowed for employees who work a second job called Moonlighting during or after regular business hours. Specifically, the offer letters also state that the employee cannot engage in full-time or part-time employment with any company without the approval of Infosys. This Moonlighting practice has reportedly increased in the period of WFH.
