On the flip side, senior executives who have higher salaries are going to get less amount of salary hikes. IT giant Cognizant has hiked annual compensation for its employees, as has Infosys. Accordingly, Cognizant employees may get an average pay hike of up to 10% this year, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that 70% of its workers will get 100% variable pay as a Diwali gift. Otherwise, it has been announced that the employees of the remaining 30% of the business units of TCS will get performance-based pay hikes. Wipro also said it will offer 100 percent variable pay to 85 percent of employees in the second quarter of fiscal 2023.
