To apply for the Indian Navy SSC Executive position, the applicant must have been born between the dates of 02.07.1997 and 01.01.2003. A candidate must have received a minimum of 60% in English in class X or XII and must have completed one of the following educational qualifications with a minimum of 60% total qualifying marks: MSc/ BE/ B Tech/ M Tech or MCA with BCA/BSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology).

Eligible applicants will be contacted for an SSB interview based on a merit list of their graduation grades. The SSB marks would be used to create a merit list. Candidates that pass the medical examination will be hired based on the number of openings in the entrance. The probation period for SSC (IT) Officers is two years. Candidates shall be appointed for a period of ten years, which can be extended by up to four years in two terms, based on service requirements, performance, medical eligibility, and willingness.
