Indian Navy and Secon Signed a Contract: Indian Navy has signed a contract with Secon, Visakhapatnam. This contract is signed for acquisition of eight missiles cum ammunition barge for Indian navy. This contract was signed by Indian Navy and M/S Secon at Visakhapatnam on 19.02.2021. The Barges is scheduled to delivery from July 22, 2021.
- The Missile Cum Ammunition Barges will be inducted in Indian Navy to undertake the mission needs for embarking/ disembarking Missile, Gunnery and ASW Ammunition.
- Secon is a MSME located in Visakhapatnam. The project adds another milestone to the Make in India initiative of the Government of India.
