ICG Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification:
Candidates should possess (10th Standard Pass) Matriculation or equivalent (Certificate of competency as Sarang from a Government recognized Institute or equivalent)
Driver: Candidates must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles.Should have at least two years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Experience:Two years’ experience as Sarang-in-charge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power
Age Limit:
Engine Driver &Sarang Lascar:
Candidates should not exceeding 30 years of age limit
Relaxable for Govt. Servant upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions/ orders issued by the Central Govt. from time to time.
Civilian Motor Transport Driver:
Candidates should not exceed27 years.
Relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates as per Government instructions issued from time to time.
Indian Coast Guard Sarang Lascar Salary:
Engine Driver &Sarang Lascar: Pay Level-4 of the pay matrix
Civilian Motor Transport Driver: Pay Level-2 of the pay matrix)

Scrutiny of Applications: All applications received from the candidates will be scrutinized subject to the eligibility criteria and necessary documents and the admit cards will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for document verification & appearing in the written examination.

Application form should be filled either in English or Hindi as per theprescribed format given at Annexure-I.The application with duly affixed self-attested colourphotograph should be accompanied by photocopies of the documents listed below, duly self-attested with name and date. No original certificates are to be forwarded alongwith the application form:-
The duly filled application with all the requisite documents should be sent by ordinary post only to reach the following address within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News :- {The Commander, Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (North-West), Post Box No.-09, Sector-11, Gandhinagar, Gujarat-382010}. The date of issue of all the above documents should be on or before the last date of receipt of application i.e. 22 Aug 2022.
It is mandatory that the envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed in BOLD letters with notation “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ________”and also the category for which they applied for viz. UR/EWS/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST. Applications without notations will be summarily rejected.
