90% of Indian CEOs Expect to Hire Similar Numbers of Talents for 2021 Openings: Survey. According to the Nasscom Tech CEO Survey 2022, which gathered responses from C-suite executives from large, medium, and small sized IT companies, international functionality centres (GCCs), and startups, 90 percent of Indian tech chief executive officers (CEOs) expect to hire a similar number of skills, if not more, than in 2021.

When it comes to the future, 70% of Indian IT companies expect the industry to grow at a rate similar to the 2021 forecasts. In 2022, 75 percent of CEOs expect a healthy increase in the average transaction pipeline (over 10%), while 57 percent expect to increase R&D spending by more than 10% this year compared to 2021.

As hybrid/distant work models and home-schooling become more common, cloud continues to be the top IT priority for CEOs. Applied sciences like as big data analytics and artificial intelligence/machine learning/pure language processing use this to help with value mitigation and customer service. As cyber dangers multiply by 3x post-pandemic, cybersecurity is sustaining its place as one of many foremost tech priorities
