Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 27 to apply for positions such as postal assistant, sorting assistant, and postman. Candidates for MTS positions should be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. The age will be relaxed according to the board’s rules, which will be detailed in the notification.
India Post Job Educational Qualification:
The candidates who are willing to apply for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman should have the educational qualification of 12th or equivalent qualification. For Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant posts, the candidates should have basic knowledge of computer as per the norms of the board.
For the MTS post, the applicants should have the qualification of 10th to apply. In addition to this qualification, the candidates should have the knowledge of local language to apply.

The candidates who will be inducted for this recruitment are eligible to get the salary of Rs. 18,000/- to Rs.81,100/- with respect to the post they will be selected for.

The meritorious Sportspersons shall be selected on the basis of sports qualifications, educational qualifications for the posts as per the norms. The details of the preference are provided below.
- Sportsmen who have represented the country in an international competition with clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports will get the first preference.
- Candidates who represented a State/ UT in the National competition as specified in the notice will get the second preference.
- Sportsmen who have represented their university in the inter-university Tournaments will get the third preference.
- Aspirants who represented a State School in the National Games that conducted by the specified board will get the fourth preference.
- Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency will get fifth preference and the candidates who represent the State/ UT/ University/ State School teams at the level of 2 to 4 but couldn’t win the medal as per the notice will get the sixth preference.
