Income Tax Recruitment 2021 Age Limit:
To apply for the Inspector of Income Tax post, the candidates should between the minimum age limit of 18 to 30 years of age. For the Tax Assistant/Multi Tasking Staff posts, the age of the candidate should lies between 18 years to 27 years of age. There will be 5 years age relaxation for General/OBC candidates and 10 years relaxation will be given in case of SC/ST candidates.
Income Tax Recruitment 2021 Educational Qualification:
The aspirants should have the following educational qualification to apply for this recruitment.
- Degree from a recognized University or equivalent is necessary to apply for For Inspector of Income Tax post.
- For Tax Assistants post, the candidate should have the degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Along with this the candidates should have the Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour.
- For Multi Tasking Staff, the candidates should pass in 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
Income Tax Job Sports Eligibility:
The candidates are expected to attend/ achieve in a National or International Competition/ University in the Inter-University Tournament/ State Schools Team in the National Sports/Games for schools/ National Awards m Physical Efficiency as per the notice. Further sport eligibility can be referred in the notification. The best of three performances in the Calendar Year (in the descending order) 2020, 2019 ,2018, 2017 and 2016 shall be considered for evaluation.

Income Tax Job Salary:
The selected candidates will get the salary as per the following scale. The details of the salary package for each individual post are provided below on this page.
- Inspector of Income Tax – Pay level-7 (Rs.44900 to Rs.142400)
- Tax Assistant- Pay level-4 (Rs.25500 to Rs.81100)
- Multi-Tasking Staff- Pay level-l (Rs.18000 to Rs.56900)
Income Tax Recruitment Process 2021:
The applicants will be subjected to the selection process that contains interview/ skill test/ any other selection process. Selected candidates will get the post on temporary basis but likely to be permanent. The probation period is of two years. The selected candidates will be posted in UP (East), Lucknow region only.
