World Anti Obesity Day

  • Anti-Obesity Day(AOD) is observed in various parts of the world on November 26 with several healthcare organizations and leading Media primarily in India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries marking the day with activities to highlight how Obesity is a public health hazard.
  • Increasing fat is dangerous to health.The WHO states that at least 2.8 million adults die every year on account of being overweight or obese.

National Law Day

  • Constitution Day or National Law Day is also known as Samvidhan Divas.It is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of Constitution of India.
  • On 26 November 1949 the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India and it came into effect on 26 January 1950.
  • Constitution of Independent India is the world’s largest constitution.Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is hailed as the prime architect of the Indian Constitution.
  • National Law Day to be celebrated jointly by Law Commission and NITI Aayog.
  • The main purpose of the Constitution is to get justice for society, economy and politically.
  • All people have access to basic rights and should be free. Such freedom can not affect the freedom and rights of others.
