  • The railways has set a target to install CCTV cameras in more than 7,000 coaches of mainline passenger trains by March 2021.
  • The International Monetary Fund Executive board gave formal approval to a three-year, $6 billion loan package for Pakistan to rein in mounting debts and stave off a looming balance of payments crisis.
  • NASA carried out a successful test of a launch-abort system for the Orion capsule designed to take U.S. astronauts to the Moon.
