  • The Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” launched ‘Paramarsh’ – a University Grants Commission (UGC) in New Delhi.
  • The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ released UGC Guide to Student Induction Programme – “Deeksharambh” in New Delhi.
  • In Shooting, extending India’s domination at the ISSF Junior World Cup, Sarabjot Singh won the men’s 10 metres air pistol gold.
