As per the news source, the job offers have increased by 60 percent from last year 2020 at some IIT. In last year 2020, half percentage of students from main IIT in Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Madras, BHU and Rookie had placed within two weeks of the beginning of the placement.
The number of companies conducts interviews at the IIT’s campuses gradually enlarged. Placement seats for each and every company have also increase in many cases. This has led to 50 percent increase in placements at some IIT’s like IIT Kanpur. In this year 2021 students at IIT-BHU had 1,155 job placements from 309 organizations as compared to 706 placements from 219 organizations in the last academic year.
