Director Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate’s age should not exceed maximum age limit of 60 years as on January of the year of advertisement for the post. Candidate shall be India Candidates should have strong leader ship and commanding quality. The candidate shall be an Indian Citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- Candidate shall be disguised academic with Ph.D. and should have minimum 15 years of work experience in teaching, research and shall have worked as a full professor at a reputed institution for at least seven years. Applicant shall have at least 15 years of industry experience at higher level.
- Candidate should have proven work experience in academic administration, fund raising and institution building. Especially in light of the autonomy resulting from the IIM Act, the individual will also be responsible for fund raising and creating endowment

- Candidates should build the institute to higher visibility globally through greater collaboration with academia and industry.
- Role bearer should provide strong Academic Leadership quality as the institute is recognized for its excellence in management research and education
- Director should give significant contributor to the “nation building effort” and the making of policy at the National level.

This notification states that the last date to apply for director recruitment is extended up to 30-04-2021. Last date extension notification were given at the end of the post. Contract Period
Candidate will be initially appointed for the period of 5 years and based on the performance of the candidate the contract period will get extended up to he or she completed the age of 65 years.
