- The lower age limit for the post is 42 years and the upper age limit is 54 years for Senior Administrative Officer (SAO).
- For the post of Administrative Officer (AO), the lower age limit is 30 years and the upper age limit is 40 years.

To be qualified for the post the candidates should have an M.com/ MBA/ PGDBA/CA / ICWA / CS/ CFA/ CAIIB/ B.Tech (IT)/ BE (IT)/ MCA/M.Sc in computer science/application/PGDCA/ M.SC (IT).

The basic pay for the post of Senior Administrative Officer (SAO) is 2.25 lakhs per month and for Administrative Officer (AO) – Information Systems is 1 lakh per month.
