Alumni of IGRUA are already flying the Indian skies over the years as pilots in national carriers and private airlines. IGRUA offers Ab-initio to CPL Course for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. Shortlisted candidates in Final Merit shall be inducted in THREE batches starting August 2020 onwards. Progress dependent on individual’s performance in academics and flying. In case SC/ST/EWS and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the Entrance Written test, the seats would be de-reserved for General Category. Candidates can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration of this course will be 03 years. All Candidates must complete eligibility criteria by given date for Interview / Aptitude Test.

IGRUA Entrance Exam Education Qualification 2020:

General Candidates:

Must have passed English with minimum 50% marks at 10+2 or equivalent.
Must have passed Maths & Physics with minimum 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent

SC / ST / EWS / OBC Candidates (in Non-Creamy Layer):

Must have passed English with minimum 45% marks at 10+2 or equivalent.
Must have passed Maths & Physics with minimum 45% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent

IGRUA Entrance Exam Selection Process 2020:

Through the below rounds, the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademy (IGRUA) will hire the candidates before providing admission. Only candidates who qualify all the rounds, they will only have the chance to get admission into the desired course.

Examination Centers:

At allotted centres on 21 May 2020 (Thursday) Reporting time 13:00 hrs.

Please check Options for centres.
Option for three centers is to be made giving first,
second and third choice.
IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any Center if numbers of Applicants for the Center are inadequate.

Syllabus for Written Test:

General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level objective type questions only and No negative marking)

Qualifying Marks in Written Test:

The cutoff marks for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category.

Interview / Viva:

All short listed Candidates will be required to produce following documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview (starting from 30 June 2020, Tuesday onwards)
Proof of Date of Birth (such as 10th Class certificate)
10th Mark sheet
10+2 Mark sheet
Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.
A Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar that the candidate falls under EWS category.

Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test:

Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection.
No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

Commitment Money:

All Selected Candidates including SC / ST / EWS / OBC will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) by 28 July 2020 to secure their seat on first come first serve basis.

IGRUA Entrance Exam Application Fee 2020:

Non refundable application fee of Rs. 12,000 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, to be paid either through internet banking, debit or credit cards or through Bank Challan payable at any branch of State Bank of India as per instructions for Fee Deposit. The SC & ST candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
