The project is funded by University of Aberdeen, UK and ICMR-NIN is executing agency. Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on the date of Walk-in-Written Test/ Interview between 9:30 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. at National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. The candidate will not be allowed to enter the Institute after 10:30 A.M. under any circumstances. The Candidates may download the application form from www.nin.res.in/ www.icmr.nic.in. If the candidates are not able to download the application form, it will be provided to the candidates at the venue on the date of Walk-in-Written Test/ interview. Selection Procedure
Interview will be conducted for the eligible candidates after verification of the Certificates. However, if more number of candidates are found eligible for the post advertised, Written Test/ Skill Test will also be conducted on the same day for final round of Interview.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Educational qualification:
Ph.D. in Nutrition/ Food Science & Nutrition/ Food & Nutrition/ Home Science with specialization in Nutrition from recognized university.
Desirable
One research paper published in citation indexed journal related to nutrition/life Sciences. Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience at least 1 or 2 years in the field of dietary intake assessment in government research institute/organizations, ability to review published papers, conduct data analysis and report preparation
Age:Not Exceeding 45 years
Consolidated Emoluments:Rs.50,000-00 (including HRA) per month fixed without any other allowances
CONSULTANT
Educational qualification:
Retired Government employees with Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition, drawing minimum pay in the Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 & Grade Pay Rs.6600/- at the time of retirement and having at least 20 years experience in the required domain/ field.
Desirable
Experience in mycotoxin risk assessment, assessing dietary mycotoxin exposure in human populations, analysis of mycotoxin in food.
Age: Not Exceeding 70 years
Consolidated Emoluments: Rs.50,000-00 (including HRA) per month fixed without any other allowances
COMPUTER PROGRAMMER
Educational qualification:
Master’s degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science from a recognized Institution/ University. OR B.E/ B. Tech. in Computer Engineering/ Computer Technology/ Information Technology/ Computer Science from a recognized Institution/ University with two years of experience in relevant areas of programming or information system in government, autonomous, PSU, etc. recognized organizations.
Desirable
2-3 years experience of data management preferably in research studies. Knowledge on any programming language.
Age: 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines.
Consolidated Emoluments: Rs.32,000-00 p.m. fixed without any allowances.
How to attend the ICMR Walk-in 2020?
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PH Certificates along with one set of photocopies of the same duly attested (can be self attested) along with a passport size photograph for attending the Written Test/ Interview. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the latest O.B.C. (Non-creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective Tahsildar/ MRO specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government Posts. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Written Test/ Interview. The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per rules and will have to give an undertaking before joining. GENERAL

The conditions of employment will be the same as that of the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute.
