Education Qualification, Required Experience and Required Skills:

For Senior Manager (Application Security)

• MBA Information Security/ Computer Engineering Graduate with working knowledge in the domain of application and network security.
• Relevant experience of at-least 3-5 years in the domain of IT application and network security.
• Working knowledge of application and network security threats and vulnerabilities
• Good understanding of technology components, software applications & IT infrastructure
• Security certifications like CEH, CISSP, CCNA
• Security certifications like ISO27001

For Manager (IT Security Governance):

• BE / B.Tech Computer Science /  MBA – Systems
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in Application security
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP, SANS CWE), secure coding practices, information security principles & architecture and industry specific auditory frameworks
• Must have Knowledge of main Security-related activities in development such as Risk and Privacy Assessment, Threat Modelling, Security Code Review
• Must have Deep understanding of the nature of security threats, their classification
• Must have Knowledge of most common implementations of the Threats in application security(e.g. XSS, SQL Injection, XSRF, buffer overruns, brute force, rainbow tables, DoS etc) and how they match the general classification.

ICICI Prudential Life Jobs 2021 Job Description

For Senior Manager (Application Security)

• Develop, maintain and promote baseline security testing framework
• Perform code review, security feature and design review
• Manage enterprise application security program which includes both a centralized and decentralized model for application testing, code scanning, issue tracking, issue remediation, key metrics, etc.
• Develop, maintain and report on key application security metrics
• Prepare a risk report for each Threat Modeling assessment listing out attack surface, threats, flaws and providing remediation guidance
• Perform Security Architecture Risk Analysis (SARA) / Security Design Reviews (SDR) of applications and assess their designs against known and emerging threats
• Knowledge of network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles

For Senior Manager (Information Security Governance & Compliance): 

• Review of information and cyber security policy, guidelines and procedures
• Define technology baseline standards
• Conduct information security risk assessments for existing and new areas
• Define policy, guidelines and procedures for new areas
• Assist business teams for conducting risk assessment, or information security related documentations
• Conduct control checks and gather relevant evidences
• Oversee information security audits, whether by performed by organization or third-party personnel
• Coordinate for audit requirements and be single point of contact for any data requirements, discussion with internal teams, discussing the audit findings, tracking implementation and closure of the findings
• Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment
• Review documentation for Information technology disaster recovery (DR) plans and DR drill reports

For Manager (IT Security Governance)

• Familiarity with existing Security Standards (e.g. PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, Common Criteria, etc) and what does it mean to implement compliance with them
• Familiarity with the tools for various security activities: Static Code Analysis, DAST Penetration Testing, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, etc
• Knowledge of Monitoring SIEM tool (ArcSight, Qradar, Splunk)
• Knowledge of WAF
• Knowledge of Email gateway (Symantec Mail gateway)
• Knowledge of Network IDS/IPS (Snort)
• Knowledge of Firewalls (Checkpoint)
• Knowledge of Proxy, VPN and Load balancer.
• Ability to use the tools to perform actual attacks is a plus
• Certification in any security area is a plus
