IBPS RRB Clerk Age Limit:

The age of the candidates should between the age limit of 18 years and 28 years for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Further relaxation in upper age limit will be provided for the candidates who belong to the category of SC/ST/OBC and others as per norms of the board.

IBPS RRB Clerk Educational Qualification:

To apply for this recruitment, the candidates should possess the educational qualification of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. The proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s is necessary for this position. However, the candidates with the working knowledge of Computer are desirable.

IBPS RRB Clerk Application Fee:

Interested candidates can apply for the Office Assistant (Multipurpose), by pay the application fee of Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM candidates. This application fee will be Rs.850/- for all other candidates.

IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Details (Selection Process):

• There will be preliminary examination, mains exam to shortlist and select the eligible candidates. The prelims exam contains 80 MCQ questions for 80 marks. This exam will be held for 45 minutes. The candidates who will be shortlisted through prelims examination will be subjected to the mains examination. The main exam will contain 200 questions for 200 marks. This exam will take place for 2 hours. For this position, the time given for the prelims as well as main exams is ‘Composite Time’; that means, there is no sectional time limit.
• There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests (for both prelims and mains). For wrong answer, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre. Candidates can refer the syllabus and the exam pattern by using the link provided below.
