The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced that the Airmen recruitment test has been postponed due to the COVID-19. The test was set to take place from April 18 to April 24, 2021. In due course, the new test schedule will be posted on the official website https://airmenselection.cdac.in/CASB/.
“Due to new restrictions imposed by various State Governments as a result of the current COVID situation, the STAR 01/2021 automated e-Pariksha, which was scheduled from April 18 to April 24, has been postponed. Updates will also be posted on the CASB website, https://airmenselection.cdac.in. Candidates must visit the web page on a daily basis,” according to the official release.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has recently announced the recruitment of Airmen in Groups ‘X’ (Technical) and ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trades, as well as both Groups ‘X&Y’. There are a large number of candidates who have submitted their applications. The application form was submitted via an online process. The application process will begin on January 22, 2021 and end on February 7, 2021.
The test will be conducted in three stages. The first process will be completed entirely online. Except for the English paper, the online exam will be objective in nature and the questions will be bilingual (English and Hindi). Following the announcement of Phase I (Online) Test results, a cut-off will be defined based on the candidates’ performance in the Phase I Test and Shortlisted candidates will receive a new admit card for the phase II test at a designated Airmen Selection Centre via their registered e-mail addresses.
Candidates who pass the Adaptability Test-II will receive a medical appointment letter from their ASC. The medical test will be performed by the Air Force Medical Team in accordance with IAF medical guidelines and current policy on the subject matter.
