Hyderabad University to hold PG Entrance Exam from 24th Sept 2020. The University of Hyderabad plans to hold the PG Entrance Exam for students who want to join the varsity for postgraduate and research level programmes in Sept 2020.
As per the official statement issued by the varsity,
The PG Entrance Exam would be held from 24th to 26th Sept 2020. The University confirmed the development in a web-based press meet held on Wednesday, in which it announced that PG Entrance Exam 2020 for admission to all post-graduate and analysis programmes will be held in Sept 2020. The news as conveyed by the Vice-Chancellor of UoH, Prof. Appa Rao Podile in the press meets.
During the press meet:
Vice Chancellor informed media persons that the university’s administration decided to go ahead with holding the PG Entrance Exams to identify and shortlist candidates for admission to postgraduate level programmes after Supreme Court’s verdict allowing the JEE Main and NEET 2020 entrance exam. He also added that entrance exam will be held at 38 exam centres throughout the nation.
As per the details shared by the University:
The entrance test for postgraduate admissions will be held while adhering to all the necessary COVID-19 precautions and guidelines prescribed by the authorities. To ensure social distancing, the exam is scheduled to be held over multiple sessions over a period of 1-day. The exam duration will be of two hours, as per the official statement. Following the examination, the university plans to start classes for the new students latest by first week of November.
