Selection Procedure
Commission shall make selection and recommendation of the name of the candidates to a department or an office for Group ‘C’ posts on the basis of written exam and there shall be no interview. The scheme of marks in respect of selection to Group ‘C’ posts shall comprise of total 100 marks, which is detailed below:-
- Written exam: 90 marks
- Socio-Economic criteria and experience: 10 marks
The written examination will be either on OMR Sheet based or online computer based (CBT). The decision of the Commission in all matters relating to acceptance or rejection of an application, eligibility/suitability of the candidates, mode of, and criteria for selection etc. will be final and binding on the candidates. No inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard. HSSC reserve the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies on administrative grounds. The candidates shall be bound by all the instructions issued from time to time.
Electronic Gadgets Banned
(a) The use of any mobile (even in switched off mode), pager, scientific calculator or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches etc., or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
