HSSC Admit Card 2020 Released for ALM Lineman, UDC Posts. Haryana Staff Selection Commission has released the notice to the candidates for online written examination (computer-based test) for the post of assistant lineman (ALM) for DHBVNL and UHBVNL department, Haryana against advt. no. 11/2019. HSSC Exam rules & Dates are given briefly in our blog.

The Admit Card released on the official site. Candidates can download the Admit Card after released on the official site.

HSSC Examination Details:

Examination Schedule :The Examination either online (CBT) or OMR Based is likely to be held from 14.03.2020 & 15.03.2020 & the date, time and place of -examination will be as per admit card. However, HSSC reserve the right to reschedule/change schedule on administrative grounds or otherwise. Applicants are advised to regularly visit the website as no separate individual intimation shall be send. It is notified for information of all concerned that Haryana Staff Selection Commission will hold the online written examination (CBT) for the post of Assistant Lineman (ALM) for DHBVNL and UHBVNL Department, Haryana against Advt. No. 11/2019, Cat. No. 02 & 21 from 14.03.2020 to 15.03.2020 at various institutions.

HSSC ALM, UDC & Other Post Exam Centers:

Candidates can download the admit card and see the exam centers via admit card. Candidates are requested to report the venue as per the schedule given. The Exam conducted by them in the shift wise order such as shift 1, shift 2, shift 3 & shift 4.

Examination Rules During Exam Do’s and Don’t:

At the time of the written examination/scrutiny, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of:

Using unfair means during the examination or impersonation by any person or Misbehaving in the examination hall or taking away the answer sheet from the examination hall

Resorting to any irregular of improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection

Obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means.

Not complying with instructions issued from time to time, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, be liable

To be disqualified from the examination/scrutiny for which he/she is a candidate.

To be debarred either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by HSSC.

To be terminated from service, if he/she already in Govt. Service.

Candidates, who courses from any have obtained degrees or diplomas or certificates for various Board/institution declared fake by the university Grants Commission are not recognized by Haryana Govt shall not be eligible for being considered for recruitment to the posts advertise & no representation in this regard shall be entertained.

Use of mobile phone in the examination hall is strictly highly prohibited

Note: Haryana Staff Selection Commission reserves the rights to supervise the complete recruitment process from online application to selection by way of using Biometric process and CCTV Cameras/ Videography etc.

HSSC ALM, UDC & Other Post Examination Process:

  1. The medium of examination shall be of Hindi & English (Bilingual) except where the knowledge of Hindi & English language of the candidate is to be tested.
  2. Every question is followed by four answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. Indicate the answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to the option which is right.
  3. The candidate can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number, which will appear at the bottom of the screen. The answered question will be marked green and the unanswered/skipped question numbers will remain in blue.
  4. In case of any doubt of the answer, the candidate can mark a question for review which is indicated with an arrow mark below the question number. This will be unmarked once the candidate will come back to the question and click on unmark review.

Note: That ONLY Questions for which answers are saved or marked for review after answering will be considered for evaluation.

  1. If a candidate wants to change answer to any question, he/she may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.
  2. The examination closes automatically once the allotted time of 90 minutes is over.
  3. On the completion of examination number of question attempted and number of questions un-attempted will be displayed.
  4. The candidates are allowed to leave the examination center only on completion of examination.
  5. If a candidate does not comply with the instructions as mentioned above or creates any kind of indiscipline, the Commission shall take action as per instructions and in addition can also debar the candidate from appearing in the Examination, to be held in future by HSSC and can also initiate criminal proceedings.

For Persons with Benchmark disability:

The Persons with Benchmark disability (Blind/Visually Handicapped/Locomotor disability-both arm affected, Cerebral palsy) who wants the help of a scribe to write his/her paper will have to apply to the Centre Superintendent for the permission of a scribe separately, 30 min before the entry time of examination along with the relevant documents i.e. Request, Disability certificate issued by Medical Board constituted by the Chief Medical Officer of the concerned district, Adhaar card of candidate and Scribe, and self attested affidavit mentioning that he is a Blind/Visually Handicapped/ Locomotor disabled(both arm affected) candidate and the qualifications of scribe is less than the essential qualifications required for the post.

A similar affidavit from the scribe shall also be required to be submitted to the Centre Superintendent along with the application.

Such candidates will be allowed extra time/compensatory time @ 20 minutes per hour. Such permission will be granted by the Centre Superintendent after checking the documents. All the candidates with benchmark disability (Blind/Visually Handicapped/Locomotors disabled (both arm affected)) not availing the facility of scribe may be allowed additional time of 20 minutes per hour.

Person with benchmark disability” means a person with not less than forty per cent. Of a specified disability where specified disability has not been defined in measurable terms and includes a person with disability where specified disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority.

The above instructions are already available on HSSC website i.e. www.hssc.gov.in. The candidate has to comply with the instructions mentioned above, instructions given in advertisement or instructions printed on Admit Card, Question booklet, etc. Therefore, the candidates are again advised to read and understand the instructions carefully given by the commission from time to time for written examination through HSSC website, Advertisement, Examination Notice, Admit card, Question Booklet or any other manner. If a candidate does not comply with the above instructions than he/she will be solely responsible for the consequences.

HSSC ALM, UDC & Other Post Selection Criteria:

Written Examination………………………………………………………… 90 Marks. The examination for the said post will comprise of 90 multiple choice question of 90 minutes duration and divided into two portions comprising:-

  1. a) 75% weightage for General awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and Concerned or Relevant Subject, as applicable.
  2. b) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana. Each question will carry equal marks.
  3. c) Socio-Economic criteria and experience …………………………………. 10 Marks No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience under any circumstances. Admit Card for online written examination of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission Web-site i.e. hssc.gov.in. The candidates can download the admit cards from the Commission Web-site from 07.03.2020 onwards. Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and follow the same strictly. No separate information will be sent to the candidates by the Commission through post. Important instructions for the candidates for written examination are available on commission’s website i.e. www.hssc.gov.in which should be gone through before coming for examination.
