HPPSC Assistant Professor Age Limit:

For the post of Associate Professor and Professor, the age of the candidates should lies between 18 years to 50 years. For the post of Assistant Professor, the age of the candidates should between the agelimit of 18 years to 45 years. The relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided for eligible candidates for this recruitment.

HPPSC Assistant Professor Qualification:

The candidates who are willing to apply for this recruitment should possess the educational qualification of following to apply for this recruitment.

• Associate Professor – A postgraduate degrees in the concerned speciality along with medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule. The qualification of M.D. (Tuberculosis) M.D., M.R.C.P. in Medicine with T.D.D., D.T.D. or D.T.C.D can apply for this post.
• Assistant Professor – A postgraduate degrees in the concerned specially is necessary to apply. For the post of Assistant Professor, D.M. 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.D. (Medicine), or M.B.B.S and D.M. in relevant field are eligible to apply.
• Professor- A postgraduate degrees in the concerned specially are necessary to apply. For the post of Professor, D.M. 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.D. (Medicine), or M.B.B.S and D.M. in relevant field are eligible to apply

HPPSC Recruitment 2021 Experience:

The aspirants who are willing to apply for this recruitment should have the following experience to apply with respect to the post they want to apply for.

• For the post of Associate Professor, the aspirants should have at least five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality to apply.
• For the post of Professor, at least four years teaching experience in the concerned speciality and grade is necessary to apply.
• For the post of Assistant Professor, at least three years teaching experience is must to apply.

HPPSC Assistant Professor Salary:

As per the notification, the candidates who will be selected for this recruitment will get the salary of Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67,000+ (GP 8900) + Special Allowance Rs.400/- for these posts

HPPSC Application Fee:

The aspirants who are willing to apply for this recruitment should pay the application fee as per following manner with respect to the category of the candidates. The last date to pay the application fee is 16.12.2021

HPPSC Assistant Professor Selection Process:

There will be a personality test and computer based test / offline test (objective or descriptive/ examination/ others as a selection process in order to select the eligible candidates for the mentioned posts.

In cases where the number of eligible candidates for recruitment are large, the Commission may conduct either Computer based Screening Test (objective-type) or Offline Screening Test (objective / descriptive) of two hours duration.  Final selection of a candidate will be made solely on the basis of his/ her performance in the Personality Test, which will be of maximum 100 marks. The minimum pass marks in personality test are 45 for the candidates of general category and 35 marks for the candidates of reserved categories.
