HPBOSE HP Board 10th Class Exam Date Cancelled. The Himachal Pradesh government on 03.06.2021 cancelled the Matriculation (Class 10) state board examinations and decided to promote 1, 16,954 lakh students to Plus one. The decision to promote class 10 students has been taken due to the rising Covid-19 cases in the state.
The Board of HPBOSE has released the notification for cancelling the Class 10th Examination. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur reviewed the COVID-19 situation in the state and announced after considering the measures to contain the spread of the virus. “Keeping in view the sharp surge of COVID-19 cases in the state, it was also decided in the meeting that the annual examination of the 10th standard of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education would stand cancelled,” an official statement said.
Earlier, the state government had postponed Classes 10, 12 final exams. In the meeting, the government decided to keep Class 12 final exams postponed till further orders. According to the recent update from the Government of India the CBSE Examination was cancelled and it was announced by PM of India. Following that many school boards are cancelled their examination only because of the curfew situation in India. The same Himachal Pradesh government also on 03.06.2021 decided to cancel the state board class X final exams amid the Covid crisis.
As per CBSE’s criteria for Class 10 students, they should be evaluated based on internal assessment and other exams – 20 marks from internal assessment and 80 from other exams – conducted during the academic year.
