- Create a device driver for electric vehicle (EV) applications.
- Development of algorithms to meet the functional and safety criteria of electric vehicles
- Debugging and testing
- Close collaboration with EV System and Controls specialists is essential.
- Interaction with vendors, technical discussions, problem-solving, and technical documentation preparation
Skills Information:
- xEV technology and its subsystems knowledge
- a solid understanding of the foundations of embedded system design having knowledge of 16/32 bit microcontrollers, compilers, and debuggers
- Good understanding of the design, development, and testing processes for both HW and SW, such as the V-cycle
- Functional safety, embedded C, real-time operating systems, device drivers
- Analog and digital electronics, electrical circuit design, sensors, and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, and UART are all essential skills.
- Understanding of various electrical measurement equipment and the testing method
- MISRA, AUTOSAR, and other automotive standards, regulations, and safety standards
