Health ATM Launches at IIT Kanpur by PGI – Details Here!!!! The Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow (PGI) and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) collaboratively launches the “Health ATM” at the IIT Kanpur. On Tuesday, this is informed by the spokesperson of IIT Kanpur.
Computer, biomedical diagnostics, point-of-care laboratory testing, and video conferencing systems are take a part in this health ATM. Prof Abhay Karandikar, director of IIT-K, and Prof RK Dhiman, director, SGPGIMS Lucknow, launched the system at the health centre located at IIT Kanpur. This system joints the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and SGPGI, Lucknow.
The use of telemedicine in giving access to healthcare services across geographical barriers or circumstances causing lack of physical contact with care providers has been realized by lot of persons across the globe and all during the pandemic period of corona. The viral development of telecommunication technology and its deployment, in particular, offers a unique opportunity to deliver healthcare services over the internet using such a portable low-cost integrated platform.
This study would be to research the body conditions of all patients while get recovery from corona virus to research its effects on respiratory, cardiovascular, and other body systems to identify at-risk patients and intervene at an appropriate time to prevent disastrous results. It would become a new milestone in IIT Kanpur history.
