Chennai Police Department Inviting Application For Home Guard Post: In Tamil Nadu, the police department has been issuing notifications to fill up vacant positions across the state. Recently the Chennai metropolitan police department is likely to recruit suitable candidates for the home guard post in Chennai, department has been inviting applications from interested men and women.

This recruitment news was announced by the Chennai police commissioner Mr. Sandeep Roy Rathore on Sunday. The minimum and maximum age limit of the applicants should be 18 and 50 years respectively and should hold a good character with no criminal record, the candidates must be a resident of Chennai.
To apply for this post, candidates should possess a 10th (Pass/Fail) and should have a family card. For 45 days, one-day training will be given to the shortlisted candidates, after successful completion of training candidates will be placed in the police station of their respective areas.
