Gujarat Govt Include Bhagavad Gita To School Syllabus- Political Parties Appreciate That Idea. The state government of Gujarat takes the decision to provide Bhagavad Gita education to the school students of classes from 6 to 12. The government of Gujarat spread a circular regards this Bhagavad Gita inclusion in the education of the students of 6th to 12th standard. The Gita will be the part of the syllabus of the assessment of the students. Other political parties are also recognizing this idea.
By including Gita into the academic syllabus the government wants to develop the tradition of the particular religion among the students. The circular issued by the state government reads “cultivate a sense of pride and connection to traditions”. The circular also informed that, the Indian culture is included in the syllabus to develop the holistic things on the minds of the students.

The Education Minister of Gujarat Jitu Vaghani reported that, “Shrimad Bhagavad Gita’s values, principals and importance are accepted by people of all religions. In Class 6, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita will be introduced in such a way that students will develop an interest in it”. The stories of this religious book, will be included in the academic books in the form of shlokas, shloka songs, essays, debates, plays, quizzes, etc. The minister assured that, “Everything will be provided to the schools by the government.”
