Big Announcement for State Govt Employees – 3% Hike in Dearness Allowance! The Gujarat government has announced 3 percent increase in the dearness allowance to lakhs of government employees across the state. On regarding this, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday announced a three percent increase in dearness allowance for state government employees who are paid under the 7th Pay Commission.

This notification will come to an effect from January 1, 2022 as per the scale of pay. It has been reported that 9.38 lakh people including state government employees, panchayat service and pensioners will benefit from the announcement of increase in concessional fare. Addressing the country’s 75th Independence Day celebrations, the chief minister said that the financial burden of the state government will increase by Rs.1,400 crore per year due to the announcement of the subsidy.
7th Pay Commission DA Hike Amount On the Way in Next Week!!
Apart from this, it has also been announced that NFSA cardholders across the state will get 1-kg pulses per card. Under this scheme, 71 lakh NFSA card holders in all 250 taluks of Gujarat state will get 1 kg of pulses per card at concessional price. Apart from this, the current eligibility criteria for the enrollment under NFSA has been increased from Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 per month.
