GSET Age Limit 2021

There is no age limit to apply for Gujarat State Eligibility test 2021.

GSET Eligibility Criteria 2021

• The candidates having Post Graduate diploma / certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree / diploma / certificate awarded by the Foreign University / Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence *of their diploma / degree / certificate, with Master’s degree of recognized Indian Universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
• General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.

GSET Application Fee 2021

• Candidate must pay the application fee mentioned below at the time of registration. The Online application fee payment window available from 21.06.2021 to 21.07.2021.
• Rs. 900/- + Bank Charges – General / Gen – EWS / SEBC (Non-creamy layer) Candidates.
• Rs. 700/- + Bank Charges – SC / ST / Third gender Candidates.
• Rs. 100/- + Bank Charges – PWD (PH/VH) Candidates

GSET Exam Details 2021

The Examination will be conducted on 26.12.2021. GSET Examination will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. and will be held as under:

GSET Result 2021 Criteria

• The number of candidates to be qualified (total slots) for Eligibility for Assistant Professor shall be equal to 6% of the candidates appeared in both the papers of GSET.
• The total slots shall be allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of Government of Gujarat.
• In order to be considered eligible for Assistant Professor, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) / General-EWS category candidates category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC, ST, SEBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer), PwD (PH/VH) and Third gender.

• Medical Certificate of Physically / Visually Handicapped issued by competent authority (if Applicable).
