PM Mohite, chairperson, GATE 2023 Organizing Committee, and professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kanpur said that, “The GATE committee is planning to increase the number of centres to reach out to more students from the rural belt since many of them are not much aware of GATE and the opportunities associates with it. Many candidates, especially the girls, often find it difficult to travel to the nearest big city. We are looking for measures to facilitate such candidates”.
