Employees’ State Insurance Corporation which is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India invites application for immediate engagement of for one year, to be extended for another one year on satisfactory performance, with a minimum term of one year in respect of teaching faculty earlier at ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka 17.04.2020 (Upto 4:00 PM). EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Professor

(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act);and (ii) A post graduate qualification e.g MD (Doctor of Medicine )/ MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.

Assistant Professor

(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13 (3) of the said Act);and (ii) A post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or (MS) Master of Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline

Age Limit:

Candidates should not have maximum of 69 years as on date of Document verification.

Post Pay:

Associate Professor Rs. 116000/-(Rupees One lakh Sixteen Thousand only)
Assistant Professor Rs. 101000/-(Rupees One lakh One Thousand only)

No other allowances will be paid.

NOTE:

No kind of Private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
Retired candidates from Central/ State Govt. / PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to apply. Persons working in recognized/ approved Private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria for the post may also apply.
The candidates have to attach the self-attested copies of all the relevant certificates/ testimonials on support of date of birth, category, sub-category i.e. educational qualification, teaching experience, Pension Payment Order (PPO), etc. with the application form and have to produce originals thereof at the time of interview.

HOW TO APPLY:

The candidate should check his/her eligibility against the advertised criteria for each post before applying. Interested candidates should send filled in Application Form (Annexure-I) and enclosing necessary self-attested copies of certificates, as mentioned below, through email to [email protected] by 17.04.2020 upto 04:00 PM to become eligible for appearing in the Interview.

The names of the eligible candidates and tentative date, time and venue of interview will be communicated in the respective email id of eligible candidate as well as they will asked to appear in the Interview on the date mentioned in the Interview Call Letter sent by email only.

The following testimonials/ certificate should be sent through above mentioned email with the application form:-

a) One sets of the prescribed application form enclosed with this notification must be printed on A4 size paper and properly filled up and submitted at the time of verification on the day of interview.
b) Two recent self-attested colur passport size photographs.
c) One sets of self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of: (i) proof of age /Date of Birth(secondary exam certificate/admit card), (ii) Category (SC & ST), Category OBC and Category EWS in up to date Government of India Format, Sub-category, (iii) Educational Qualifications: (Graduate, Post Graduate certificate, & any other),(iv)Registration certificate issued by State Medical Council/MCI (v) MCI recognized teaching experience issued by the Head of the Institute or Head of the Department, (vi) Research Publications in Indexed Journals, (vii) Pension Payment Order (PPO), in case of retired employees from Govt. organizations,(Viii) NOC for in service candidate from employer (ix) service bond release certificate if applicable along with Original documents.

Application Fee:

SC/ST/Regular ESIC Candidates/ Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen – NIL
All other categories – Rs. 225/-

Mode of payment:

A Demand Draft of Rs. 225/- in favour of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I’, drawn after the date of issue of this advertisement on any scheduled bank payable at ‘Kolkata’ has to be submitted along with the Application Form.

Note:

i) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
ii) Only Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank will be accepted. Application Fee paid by any other mode will not be accepted.

iii) The Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of this advertisement.

(iv) Separate Demand Drafts to be paid if candidate applies for more than one post. Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the Selection Board.
Result will be displayed on web-site: www.esic.nic.in

General Conditions:

Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed. ii. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.

iii. Wrong declarations/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.

Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
The interviews shall be conducted at DEAN OFFICE (Academic Building), ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700104. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the Venue, if needed.

Note:

Candidates found eligible on basis of application and document verification shall be called for interview through e-mail only. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
