Eastern Railway Recruitment 2022 Qualification
Age Limit
Candidate minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 25 years. The date of reckoning of age shall be 01.01.2023. No age relaxation shall be permissible.
Education Qualification
Category 1 (Group ‘C’ Level 4 and 5/7th CPC)
Candidate should have Graduation or its equivalent in any discipline from a Govt. recognized university.
Category 2 (Group ‘C’ Level 2 and 3/6th CPC)
Candidate should passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination. Education qualification must be from a Govt. recognized Board/Council/Institution etc. (Minimum educational qualification should be as applicable to the post offered for NTPC posts).
For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification is 10th pass. However, the training period for such Sports Quota appointees will be 03 years, unless they pass ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
Eastern Railway Recruitment 2022 Salary
Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary for Category 1 is PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200) with GP Rs.2400 or 2800 (Level-4/5 of pay matrix as per 7th CPC)and for Category 1 is PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200) with GP Rs.1900 or 2000 (Level-2/3 of pay matrix as per 7th CPC)from the respective board.
Eastern Railway Recruitment 2022 Sports Quota
All the Championships mentioned in Notification as sports norms, for recruitment, should be conducted under the aegis of recognized International/National Sports Federation and also recognized by the Railway Sports Promotion Board. Validity of Sports Certificates at period of the Trial will be considered as per directives of concerned authority.
