The famous social media platform Twitter has gone through so many rounds of layoffs in recent months by CEO Elon Musk. Now the good news for the remaining working staff of Twitter is that the company going to give rewards to them.
After Elon Musk became the CEO of Twitter last year, he promised the employees of Twitter that there will not be any more layoffs however he cuts off employees from the company in many rounds. For the first time musk has announced positive news for the existing staff, that the company going to give performance-based rewards. The rewards are going to be in the form of stocks. The employees are expected to receive the stock awards on 24th March.
It seems musk tries to bring out the same rewarding system which he follows in his other space exploration company Space-X, where the staff is given a performance-based stock reward. Twitter has shed over 2000 of its employees after Musk took over the company. It is almost 10 percent of the company employees.
