Eastern Coalfields Limited was invited the online applications for the post of Director (Technical). Last time/date of receipt of complete application duly forwarded to PESB is by 15.00 hours on 17/05/2022. No application shall be entertained under any circumstances after the stipulated time/date.
The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Director (Technical) is a member of the Board of Directors of ECL and reports to Chairman and Managing Director.

- The applicant should be a qualified Mining Engineer and holder of 1st class certificate of competency under the Indian Mines Act. The applicant should have at least five years cumulative experience/exposure during the last ten years in Mining Operations or Mine Planning at a senior management level in an organization of repute.
- Candidates do not exceeding Minimum 40 years and 2 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation for Internal Candidates and 3 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation for External Candidates.
- The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as on the date of vacancy. Candidates can get the salary package is Rs. 160000-290000 (IDA) for selected candidates.
- Board reserves the right to shortlist applicants for interview. Date and Time for Interview will be announced due in courses by PESB or ECL. An applicant has to give an undertaking as a part of the application that he/she will join the post, if selected. If an applicant does not give such undertaking, the application would be rejected.
