Now, big companies including food service company Swiggy and investment bank Goldman Sachs have told their employees to do work from home. Meanwhile, many schools in the city have switched back to online mode of studying due to the flood damage. It is reported that this pattern will continue for a few more days. State Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has assured that a consultation will be held in this regard as concerns have been raised that information technology companies have been affected by the floods.
