DRDO Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidate upper age limit for all the above fellowships is maximum of 28 years as on the closing date of advertisement. 5 years relaxation to SC/ST and 3 years to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates.

Education Qualification

For JRF (Mathematics): Candidate should have Post graduate degree in Mathematics in First division with NET qualified and should have knowledge of computer programming in C/C++, Java is desirable.

For JRF (Computer Science Engineering (CSE)/Information Technology (IT)/Computer Science (CS): Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech degree in CSE/IT/CS with first division and valid NET/GATE score or M.E./M.Tech in the relevant field with First division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level and should have knowledge of basic cryptology, Java, Python is desirable.

For JRF (Electronics Engineering (EE)/Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE): Candidate should have EE/ECE with first division and valid NET/GATE score or M.E./M.Tech in the relevant field with First division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level and should have knowledge of Computer programming in C/C++,VHDL, Verilog is desirable.

DRDO SAG 2021 Salary Details

Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary for Junior Research Fellow will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA and Medical facilities as per rules. Contingency grant of Rs. 15,000/- per annum is also admissible.

All applications shall be screened by the screening committee and subsequently short-listed candidates will be called for Online Interview.
