DRDO RAC Recruitment 2023 Age Limit:
Applicants do not exceed the Minimum Age Limit of 28 Years to the Maximum Age Limit of 33 years as of closing date of advertisement.
Relaxation in upper age limit (As per Govt rules):
- Up to 10 years for PwD category candidates.
- The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for serving Central Civilian Govt. employees working in posts which are in the same line.
- The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex‐servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per rules in vogue.
DRDO RAC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering [Paper code : ME].
DRDO RAC Recruitment 2023 Salary:
The Salary for the post is Level‐10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56, 100/‐) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 1, 00,000/‐ p.m. at the present metro city rate.
DRDO RAC Recruitment Process 2023:
The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the GATE scores will be required to appear in the Personal Interview to be held in Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO.
DRDO RAC Application Fee 2023:
- General (UR), EWS and OBC male candidates are required to pay a non‐ transferable non‐refundable application fee of Rs 100/‐ payable online only.
- There is no application fee for SC/ST/PwD and women candidates.

- The applicants should ensure their eligibility in respect of age, essential qualification etc.
- The OBC (Non‐creamy Layer) candidates are required to submit requisite certificate in prescribed format of Government of India, from a competent authority. The certificate must have been issued on or after 01 Apr 2023 and must be valid through the Financial Year 2023‐24.
- On successful registration, the candidates may login before the closing date of the advertisement to fill the application form online. The candidates are required to upload the requisite certificates (See Para 3 for details), the details of the application fee payment (if not exempted) and lock the application before submission of the same.
