DoTE Released Important Announcement Regarding Polytechnic Exam: The Directorate of Technical Education department is responsible for the polytechnic colleges in Tamil Nadu. Polytechnic colleges will offer diploma courses in various engineering fields. They will conduct the semester exams for students twice a year.
Recently, the department of technical education announced an important announcement to all polytechnic students regarding the mode of exam fee payment. The department has planned to change the mode of exam fee payment to online from April 2023 for all regular and arrear students.
As of now, students have to pay the exam fees at the college office in cash, and arrear students also have to visit the college in person to pay the fees. By this recent announcement, students need not have to visit the college office to pay exam fees instead of that they can pay their exam fees online through the official portal. This applies to all regular and arrears students. The department also said that the detailed payment schedule will be released later.
