Department of Telecommunication (DOT) has released the recruitment notification for the post of consultant at the level of AD, JTO & Gp Contemporary Contract basis in Assam LSA Guwahati. Retired Government servants/retired officers/officials of PSUs or Research organizations having age less than 64 years with adequate knowledge of DOT field unit works/telecom works and knowledge of working on computers can apply. The consolidated fee/remuneration for the consultants shall be in accordance with Department of Telecommunication rules
The Payment will be made on monthly basis. Income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment for which the department will issue TDS Certificate
Service tax as applicable shall be payable extra at the prevailing rates.
The selection committee will scrutinize the valid application, conduct personal interview and draw a panel of eligible candidates in order of their merit with approval of LSA Head which will be valid for a period of 6 months.
