The curfew has been extended till April 14 to curb the spread of coronavirus in India, the Union Cabinet has recommended that school and college holidays be extended till May 15.

Extend curfew:

With India’s curfew still only 7 days away, the central government is seriously considering the proposal of the chief ministers of Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh calling on Modi to extend the curfew.

The curfew is expected to be extended by the end of this month. Perhaps curfew will be lifted, but there will be no shutdown of schools and colleges until May 15, and the ban on religious programs is likely to last another month.
